Required Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg of lentils
  • Onion
  • 2 tomatoes
  • Chopped parsley and coriander
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • Laurel
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • One teaspoon: pepper, ginger, cumin, turmeric and paprika

Making the sauce
  • Cut the tomatoes and onion into small pieces
  • In a saucepan, put the pieces of onion and tomatoes with coriander, parsley, chopped garlic, and oil.
  • Add a teaspoon of each spice
  • Mix everything and set it on fire.
Soaking lentils
  • Soak the lentils in hot water 30 minutes before.
Adding lentils to the sauce
  • As soon as the sauce is cooked, add the lentils and mix them all.
  • Cook for half an hour or more, depending on whether the lentils are cooked or not.
  • Add water from time to time if the lentils get dry.
